Saving Face: Capstone

Spring 2018

“Saving Face” is an idiom which refers to the avoiding of shame, embarrassment, in order to preserve reputation, dignity, and one’s outward appearance. This project aims to generate empathy on mental health stigma by presenting the authentic faces of Asian Americans and their personal experiences.

The project was originally presented as a final capstone project for the Journalism+Design BA program at Eugene Lang College, The New School. It consists of video interviews, user-generated content, and reporting.
