An Industry Awakening

With the collapse of Rana Plaza in Bangladesh, the event marked a catastrophic wake up call for the working conditions of garment workers as well as extending consequences by the high demands of ‘fast fashion’ cycles. This is a half-semester long collaborative project exploring this issue, highlighting few local and sustainable options of ‘slow fashion’ around New York City.

My major contributions were two videos that I edited and produced with some assistance. Additionally, I captured several photos and assisted with copy-editing the final article seen on site at The New School Free Press
